You have probably collected a few certificates and wondered which ones recruiters actually care about. The honest answer is that most are neutral, and a few are gold.
Certificates that carry weight are usually tied to a specific tool or vendor: cloud certifications from AWS or Google, project management from PMI, security from CompTIA. Employers recognize and even require these.
Generic certificates from unknown platforms rarely impress anyone. They signal interest, which is fine, but they will not get you hired on their own.
The rule is to chase certificates that appear in job descriptions. Search your target roles, list the credentials they ask for, and pursue exactly those. A resume with three relevant certificates beats one with twenty random ones.
