You have probably watched a MasterClass trailer and been blown away, then wondered if you would actually learn anything or just be entertained for a few hours. The answer is a bit of both.
MasterClass is inspiration first, instruction second. You learn how great creators think and approach their craft, which is genuinely valuable, but you will not get step by step skill drills.
For motivation and mindset, it is outstanding. For mastering a specific technical skill, a focused course on another platform will serve you better.
Treat it as what it is: a library of masterclasses, not a bootcamp. Watch it for perspective, then go do the deliberate practice elsewhere. Used that way, it is worth the subscription. Used as your only teacher, it is an expensive documentary service.
